Lee Montgomery, M.D. is a native of Fulton, son of Larry and Delois
Montgomery.  He met his wife, Phyllis, while attending Millsaps College.
They have two children, Anabelle and William.

Dr. Montgomery earned a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Chemistry from
Millsaps College.  He graduated at the top of his class, Summa Cum
Laude, member of the honorary Phi Beta Kappa.

He continued his education at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine,
where he received the Canby Robinson Society Consummate Physician Award and the Tennessee Academy of Family Physicians Award.

He completed his Residency in Family Practice at Florida
Hospital-Orlando, where he received the Glaxo-Wellcome Excellence in
Residency Award.

He has been practicing medicine in Fulton since 1999.  He is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Family Physicians, and the American College of Occupational and Educational Medicine.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Mississippi Academy of Family Physician.  He is a Clinical Preceptor for the University of Mississippi School of Medicine Department of Family Practice.
