Dr. Vito Mazzoccoli
Medical Director, Board Certified Family Physician
Dr. Vito Mazzoccoli attended the Universita’ Degli Studi di Bari (Italy), where he earned his M.D. degree. Subsequently, he completed a five-year residency program in Abdominal Surgery at the Universita’ degli Studi di Napoli (Italy). His passion for medical research brought him to the United States in 1994, with a grant received by the Italian National Research Council (CNR), financing a two-year research project in a VA Hospital in New York. He is co-author of several research papers. After two years of training in surgery, he completed a three-year residency program in Family Medicine at NYU Langone Hospital, Brooklyn Campus. Dr. Vito Mazzoccoli worked for immediate care centers while establishing Premier Family Medical in 2004. He speaks English, Italian, Spanish.

The Office Manager has a large experience in the healthcare system and performs managerial duties in support of medical activities, health insurances requirements, and patient’s satisfaction. The Office manager will address your concerns in regard of quality of care, services offered, privacy, health insurance issues, reports of tests offered at the Clinic or other facilities and/or specialists you have been referred to, medical records, etc. At Premier Family medical we speak English, Spanish, Italian, and we assure that any other language spoken by patients is well translated and understood.
The Receptionists are pleasant and personable. They always strive to provide our patients with excellent service. They provides referrals, appointments and all other clerical necessities.
The Medical Assistants are always ready to take the extra step to make sure all you need for your visit are accomplished before and after seeing your physician. They will greet you, listen to what you have to say, take your vital signs and refer you to the onsite laboratory if blood work is needed. They will also contact you regarding reports of tests and blood work done at Premier Family Medical.
There is a variety of other healthcare professionals you will meet occasionally at Premier Family Medical, including Clinical Pharmacists, Nurse Practitioners, Technicians, Phlebotomists, Medical students, Nurse students, etc, all striving for the best in patient’s healthcare experience in our Clinic.
