Dr. Vito Mazzoccoli attended the Universita’ Degli Studi di Bari (Italy), where he earned his M.D. degree. Subsequently, he completed a five-year residency program in Abdominal Surgery at the Universita’ degli Studi di Napoli (Italy). His passion for medical research brought him to the United States in 1994, with a grant received by the Italian National Research Council (CNR), financing a two-year research project in a VA Hospital in New York. He is co-author of several research papers. After two years of training in surgery, he completed a three-year residency program in Family Medicine at Lutheran M.C. in Brooklyn. Dr. Vito Mazzoccoli worked for immediate care centers while establishing Premier Family Medical in 2004. He speaks English, Italian, Spanish.

Nicki
The Receptionist
Nicki will friendly care for you. She will schedule your appointments, arrange your referrals, attend to your charts and medical records, refill your prescriptions, answer your questions, so forth and so on. Always ready to help, she will do her best to make you feel comfortable while receiving state of the art medical services at Premier Family Medical.

Rina
The Secretary
Rina has worked for many years in the healthcare system, performing secretarial duties in support of medical activities. She is a real pro in relieving medical professional personnel of clerical and administrative details and in maintaining an efficient and effective operation. Sweet and efficient, Rina helps as receptionist when necessary. She will also help in making proper referrals, so you will definitely meet her at Premier Family Medical. Rina speaks English, Spanish and Italian.
Melissa
The Medical Assistant
Extremely kind and efficient, Melissa is always ready to take the extra step to make sure all you need for your visit are accomplished before and after seeing your physician. She will greet you, listen to what you have to say, take your vital signs and draw your blood if you need blood work. Melissa will also contact you regarding reports of tests and blood work done at Premier Family Medical. She speaks English and Spanish.
